Tim Batdorf is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of NextGenLPM, a company that helps law firms increase profitability and client satisfaction by applying proven techniques in Legal Project Management. Before he launched NextGenLPM, Tim was the CEO of LegalBizDev where he was instrumental in developing an Online LPM Library, a comprehensive resource that supports LPM training programs at law firms. Tim also created and designed the Master Certified LPM Coach Program which teaches LPM Directors, Legal Project Managers, and LPM champions a proven method for helping lawyers and legal teams implement LPM best practices on a “just-in-time” basis.
Tim is a co-author of the Legal Project Management Quick Reference Guide and was a frequent contributor to LegalBizDev’s award-winning blog. As a contributing author, Tim had the good fortune of interviewing dozens of LPM thought leaders which culminated in the development of the LPM Law Firm Assessment, a tool that helps law firms gauge their progress in several key areas of LPM. Tim has moderated panel discussions and presented seminars and webinars for numerous different bar associations, law firms, law schools, and professional organizations. He received his JD from DePaul University College of Law and his LLM in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law.
