Ms. McHugh’s professional expertise is in realizing the factors that shape reputation to advance economic and reputation value. She honed her craft leading teams at best-in-class global public relations agencies such as WPP’s Ogilvy and Hill+Knowlton, and Publicis’ MSL Group. She has managed some high-profile assignments: spearheading communications for a controversial and nationally scrutinized US Supreme Court case, Kelo v. New London; and launching a $6.4 billion corporate spin-off of Chemours from DuPont, a deal with reputation risk mitigation strategies at a time when the company was under public criticism from an activist investor. Ms. McHugh is a public speaker, adjunct professor and published author.
