Neil Sternthal has been with Thomson Reuters since 2002. During his tenure with the Company, Neil has held several leadership positions across the business. Currently, Neil acts as the General Manager of our global Large Law segment, as well as General Manager of our Canada business.
Previously Neil served as Managing Director of the Legal & Tax divisions for Canada, as well as the Legal division for Australia & New Zealand. He has also served as Managing Director of Global Accounts, Americas for the Financial & Risk division. Prior to his various roles as a business leader, Neil acted as general counsel for Reuters Canada and practiced Corporate Finance and M&A Law in a large Canadian law firm.
Neil was called to the Bar of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1997 and obtained his Law Degree from McGill University in 1995. Neil has a Master’s Degree in Modern History from St. Antony’s College, Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Trinity College, University of Toronto. He is based in Toronto, Canada.
