Founder and CEO of Adappt.legal
Marc Jenkins is founder and CEO of Adappt.legal, a legal operations and technology management consultancy advising corporate legal departments on people, process, and technology to optimize and scale their function. Adappt.legal also advises legal technology companies on product design and development, client success, and marketing strategies; law firms on integration of technology into their client service delivery models; venture capitalist and private equity on legal technology products and investments; and law schools on developing education and training programs for students, alumni, and practicing lawyers.
Prior to founding Adappt.legal, Jenkins served as Director of Legal Operations at Asurion where he successfully built the legal operations function by developing a framework and operating model for capturing, tracking, managing, and optimizing the legal team's technology products, support services, and internal team programs. He also served as Asurion's Senior Counsel, leading the drafting and negotiation of major revenue-generating commercial contracts.
Prior to Asurion, Mr. Jenkins served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for e-discovery and legal operations start-up Cicayda and was a partner in private practice at the boutique Nashville law firm Hubbard, Berry & Harris.
Jenkins also serves as a Faculty Member of the PoLI Institute at Vanderbilt Law School, providing executive-level education on legal operations. He has previously taught Electronic Discovery and Technology in Legal Practice at Vanderbilt, leading the development of 19 applications for legal services organizations. He also has been a speaker/panelist at ACC, CLOC, SOLID and law school symposia on legal operations and technology.
