Jami Wintz McKeon
Chair of the Firm, Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP
Chair of Morgan Lewis, Jami Wintz McKeon directs the firm’s strategic growth and its steadfast commitment to client service. In her practice, she counsels clients in high-stakes crisis litigation and investigations involving business disputes, fraud, class and mass action cases, including controversies arising from mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures. Focusing particularly on the financial services and technology industries, she has led bank-related investigations and litigation, and currently represents some of the world’s largest banks in mortgage and credit card regulatory and litigation matters.
Before her election as Chair, Jami led the firm’s global litigation practice—its largest practice. She played a central role in many of the firm’s most important developments, including expansion across the United States and into key international markets.
Under her stewardship, the global litigation practice earned accolades for its outstanding results and service to clients. The BTI Consulting Group characterized it as a “Powerhouse—Best of the Best” for Complex Commercial Litigation in BTI’s Litigation Outlook 2013. In 2012, The Legal Intelligencer named the practice one of its “Pennsylvania Litigation Departments of the Year.” The American Lawyer, The Daily Journal, and the Philadelphia Business Journal also recognized Jami with individual honors for her litigation work.
Jami develops effective, innovative solutions, encouraging the use of cutting-edge technology both within the firm and to serve clients. A leader in establishing Morgan Lewis as one of a select group of firms managing large nationwide litigation dockets, Jami was an early proponent of alternative fee arrangements.
In keeping with the firm’s commitment to pro bono and community service, Jami sits on the board of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia and is active in other local and national organizations.
