Chris has 30 years’ experience both in-house and as an external consultant working with law firms in a series of global senior communications and CMO-level roles. He works at the senior leadership level on sensitive and major communications and associated reputation management and brand issues. In doing so he has looked at topics from the perspective of a wide range of different stakeholders including the partnership, the wider firm, clients and potential clients, regulators, media, and potential recruits.

During the course of his career he has directly handled a series of reputationally sensitive and crisis management matters including office closures, fraud, fatalities / terrorist attack, practice restructurings, #metoo and discrimination topics, partner departures and terminations, technology and data issues, equity / partner performance reviews, strategy development and communications, regulatory affairs, disputes with clients and litigation, contested management elections, and law firm dissolution.
