Managing Director, U.S. Law Firms
Charlotte Rushton is Managing Director of U.S. Law Firms for the Legal business of Thomson Reuters.
In this role, Ms. Rushton is responsible for ensuring we satisfy the needs of our law firm customers, developing and executing on winning product proposition strategies and driving revenue and growth for the segment.
She is a member of the Legal business executive leadership team and also serves on the Thomson Reuters operating committee, and is based in New York. In addition, she is the executive Innovation Champion within Thomson Reuters Legal business and was recently named one of the top “100 Women to Watch” in 2015 by the Financial Times and London Stock Exchange index (FTSE) Female Board in the UK.
Prior to her appointment in 2014, Charlotte was Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific and EMEA, for the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters. Based in London, she led the Tax & Accounting business operations that serve corporations and accounting firms across the Asia Pacific and EMEA regions.
In 2010, Ms. Rushton opened the Tax & Accounting business's regional office in Singapore, where she led the team that launched ONESOURCE corporate tax solutions in China, Korea and Taiwan and ONESOURCE global solutions, including indirect tax, in ANZ and across Asia.
Before joining Thomson Reuters in 2007 she was a partner and leader of the business strategy capability for Computer Sciences Corporation based in New York. Ms. Rushton was responsible for business development and project leadership for business and IT strategy and planning for Fortune 500 and start-up clients.
She holds a Master’s degree in engineering from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.
