Meredith Moore, head of Diversity, Inclusion & Social Responsibility at the law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, is speaking with Natalie Runyon, director & head of the Talent Platform at Thomson Reuters Legal Executive Institute.
They will be discussing Weil’s Upstander Action program, which the firm began a few years ago to help forge alliances across various levels and demographic groups within its workforce and community.
Moore will provide an overview of what an Upstander is and what behaviors an Upstander exhibits. She also will discuss the launch session that involved an interactive theatre group acting out scenarios of an Upstander intervention, and will discuss the impact and outcomes from the Upstander program.
