A legal services industry pioneer, Jan Anne Dubin is an award-winning consultant with over 35 years of experience leading, innovating, and serving as a change-agent and connector. The Founder and CEO of Jan Anne Dubin Consulting, she provides professional services firms and individuals with strategic guidance and counsel assisting to drive revenue and build profile and visibility. She serves as a strategic business partner to the Association or Corporate Counsel and the Thomson Reuter, Legal Executive Institute. She is also a partner and investor in Chicago based Abundant Venture Partners and serves as an Advisor to LifeXT.
Jan served as the first North American Business Development Director for Baker & McKenzie LLP responsible for driving the region’s business development strategies. She served as the Director of Client Relations for DLA Piper US LLP and its legacy firms where she also held various senior management and leadership roles for more than 17 years.
A 2017 Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management (COLPM), she was recognized for extraordinary achievement in the legal services profession. She was inducted into the Legal Marketing Association – 2016 - Midwest Chapter Hall of Fame and has received numerous first-place national “Your Honor” awards for excellence in the profession. Recognized by Today’s Chicago Woman magazine as one of 100 Women Making a Difference, she also received the Anti-Defamation League’s Distinguished Community Leadership Award. She was recruited by former First Lady Michelle Obama in 1994, (then the Executive Director) to join the Public Allies Chicago board. Today, she serves as board co-chair and sits on the National Strategic Planning Committee. She also serves on the company advisory board of DyMynd (dynamic minds in action. A 1994 M.B.A. graduate of The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, she holds a B.S. degree from the University of Kansas, William Allen White School of Journalism.
