Cynthia Claytor

Lead Editor of "Hong Kong Lawyer"

Cynthia Claytor is currently the Lead Editor of "Hong Kong Lawyer", the Law Society of Hong Kong’s official law journal, at Thomson Reuters and a US-licensed attorney.

Prior to this role, she worked in the field of international arbitration in Singapore and Hong Kong, with a focus on disputes in India and Southeast Asia. She has also served as a journalist for a variety of publications and a researcher and editor for prominent academics, judges, practitioners, arbitral institutions and law firms.

Cynthia focuses on promoting an inclusive workplace and helps to drive gender diversity initiatives and events as a co-chair of the Hong Kong Chapter of the Women@Thomson Reuters.

Cynthia earned her JD from New York Law School, concentrating on International Law and Information Law and Policy, and is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.

She earned her B.A. from the University of Virginia, where she double majored in Philosophy and Anthropology.
