Anne L. Ristic

Anne Ristic is the Assistant Managing Partner of Stikeman Elliott's Toronto office and practiced at the firm as a corporate/securities lawyer before becoming a full-time member of the management team. Anne oversees business planning for the Toronto office. Her responsibilities include business development strategies and client programs, pricing and alternative fee strategies, compensation, talent management, partnership promotion, diversity, and knowledge management. Key business functions reporting to Anne are marketing and business development; talent management; knowledge management; aspects of finance including the team dedicated to pricing strategies and client value.

Anne leads the agenda for the Toronto Management Committee, and has been a member of the firm-wide Partnership Board. She provides support to the firm's Chair on several national projects. She also acts on the Toronto office Finance Committee, Business Development Committee, Diversity Committee, Women's Initiatives Committee, and Associates Committee.
Anne is a member of the Advisory Board for the Canadian General Counsel Awards and is a member of the Steering Committee for the Northwind Professional Institute's Law Firm Leaders' Invitational Forum. She is a former sessional lecturer in Advanced Corporate Law at Queen's University and at the University of Western Ontario (1992 to 2002), and is a frequent speaker on issues relating to law firm management.
